A popular chamber theatre. Among the best productions have been the ironic lyrical play "A City Romance", "The Poor" (a phantasmagoria based on themes from Gogol's work) and the "White Theatre" production "The Marriage of Gogol" by R.Smirnov. Recent premiers include "Capriccio" and "A concert of Tormented Misprints" by Ilf and Petrov.
